1. ORDERS

We make every effort to ensure the vinyl, CDs and Hardware products that we supply are of the highest quality and are in perfect condition before we ship them.  However Tempest is not only an internet based shopping facility, we also have a city centre shop, therefore some of the products and CDs may have previously been played so may contain fingerprints or small surface scratches.  This should not affect the playability of the product.

All orders are accepted subject to availability of stock at the time of placing the order.

Prices are correct at the time of upload to the web site.

We are unable to process your order until your payment method has been received or your credit / debit / charge card has been authorized. No goods will be dispatched from Tempest to the customer until payment has been received in full.

Due to bank clearing proceedures, it is at the discretion of Tempest Records to deliver to a "Delivery Address" if different to the "Billing Address". You will be notified by email if Tempest are unable to dispatch your order.
By submitting your order, you are offering to buy the products, and allowing us to use your personal details for the purposes of supplying / sending you those products.

Personal details can be removed from our system by written request.

We never debit your credit / debit / charge card for items not in stock, and your card is only charged for the products that we send out.

We will always try to inform you if an item is not in stock when you place your order. When we receive your order we will ship all items requested that are currently in stock at that time. For any items that are not in stock at the time of packing, you will be informed via email and we will await a confirmation reply from you as to whether you want the remainder of your order dispatched.

2. PRODUCT GUARANTEES

All products are fully guaranteed.

Products are not supplied on a trial basis.

Hardware products are covered by their respective manufacturer's warranties.

Warranty details and length are included with the product. In most cases this will be for a minimum of 12 months.

Exceptions are the wear and tear of fader’s and cross fader’s on mixers, styli on cartridges, professional use and neglect.

3. CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS

Credit, debit and charge cards are accepted without surcharge.

We only charge your card when your order is ready to be shipped.  Please note that when we receive your order, your method of payment will be pre-authorized with your bank.

We reserve the right to deliver any order to the cardholders billing address in the interests of protecting both the cardholder and Tempest against credit card fraud.

4. SHIPPING & DISPATCH

UK CUSTOMERS

In the unlikely event that your goods do not arrive within 7 days of being shipped to you, first call or e-mail us to confirm your order has been shipped and that we have your correct delivery address.

Normal delivery time after dispatch is approximately 1 to 3 days.

OVERSEAS CUSTOMERS

In the unlikely event that your goods do not arrive within 29 days of being shipped to you, first contact us to confirm shipping of your order.

Unfortunately parcels can not be declared lost in post until 29 days from the shipping date.


IMPORT DUTY & TAXES

It is your responsibility as the customer to pay all applicable customs fees and taxes for your country. If you refuse to pay these charges then your order may be abandoned and you will lose your goods as well as your money. These taxes are only applicable for non UK and non European Union countries.

All records are mailed in strong cardboard envelopes.  All CDs are mailed in Jiffy bags. All other orders are shipped in appropriate strong packaging. Orders are computer tracked via Royal Mail and can be followed up at any time by contacting us or using the Royal Mail web site www.royalmail.com

For items sent via courier or guaranteed delivery, we advise you to ensure somebody is present at the delivery address as a signature will be required for delivery. Once goods are delivered and signed for they become your responsibility.

Orders sent to a non card registered address are sent at the customer’s liability due to the higher risk in a third party obtaining your order when delivering to a third party address.

If in the unlikely event that your order is damaged or lost in transit, a replacement order will be issued. Unfortunately parcels can not be declared lost until 21 working days have elapsed from the date of dispatch. We therefore cannot replace your order until the postal service has confirmed that your parcel has been lost.

If your order is undelivered due to no signatory at delivery address or failure in collection from post office, you will be liable for all costs incurred in returning the parcel back to Tempest.

5. CANCELLATIONS

You may cancel any order before it has been shipped but unfortunately once your order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled.

The best and most reliable way to cancel your order is by telephone.

6. ERRORS & OMISSIONS

We currently have well in excess of 200,000 items listed in our database.
Although we make every effort to maintain its accuracy this cannot be guaranteed.
It is worth noting that we are not a collector’s site, so if you are ordering because something is listed as on a certain label etc it would be better to confirm the details by phone before placing your order.
